If you were looking at doing a DIY mule deer hunt and had 3 preference points to burn - what GMU unit(s) would you look at?

I may do this next year or wait till 2016. If I wait till 2016, I'll have 4 PP. I'm thinking of doing a Wyoming safari of sorts - mule deer in early October, followed by an elk hunt later in October. May also consider adding antelope into the October mix. Likely take me a year or so to plan and do a bit of off-season scouting before I actually show up. BTW: I'm not opposed to hunting different units for different species.

Any/all ideas welcome.

No elk or PH points - wish I'd thought of that earlier. I was collecting points for an outfitted mule deer hunt but he sold the business last year and I'm going to give it a wait and see on the new owners.

I'm also considering an elk safari of sorts - first season Colorado followed by WY in the middle/end of October. The place I hunt in CO is close to the WY border so its not that much of a stretch to hunt both. I'd consider throwing MT into the mix but haven't spent any time in MT finding a feasible DIY place to hunt with a reasonable chance of success.

I have to ask, what is a PH point?
