Absolutely! I just finished Captick's book about Wally Johnson, PH in Mozambique a few decades ago. He (Johnson) tells the tale of taking a German/Austrian(?) lady hunting and she downed not one but two Cape Buffalo with, as he put it, a "pipsqueak" 7x57. One shot each. It was one pill a day for a couple days before, during and a week after we returned. I had no issues with it. Went to a travel clinic in Centreville for most of the shots and prescriptions. Piece o cake.

Very accurate too. Mine is a Winchester Safari Express re-stocked in a McMillan McWoody. Both rifles shoot at the exact same POI with Barnes 300 TSX & Northfork 300 grain solids. 163bc
