All,
My first cousin's wife Melanie has recently been diagnosed with breast cancer. They believe it has been caught before it entered the lymp system. She is the mother of 3 fine boys and I doubt the Lord has made a sweeter girl in all the world. She is 42 years old and otherwise in good health, but the doctors have recommended removal of both breast because her younger sister has also had breast cancer in recent years. She is devastated and afraid at the same time but is going forward with the surgery today. Please pray for her during this tough time, for healing, and that the removal will clear her of cancer completely. My cousin Dale and his wife Melanie are both strong believers and trusting the Lord, but prayers are much appreciated.

many prayers were lifted up on behalf of my wife when she underwent a similar ordeal during 2013
it's my honor to do the same for your Melanie
it's a bumpy road to travel
but often there's daylight at the end of the tunnel.
God shined his light on my wife both during and after her ordeal.
I'm praying he does the same for Melanie.
truly wish her the best.
we also did some alternative treatments while my bride was doing the chemo and radiation, if you'd like any info on that stuff feel free to pm me.
P.S. not everyone at the 'fire believes in God, but even many of those guys that don't have that faith offered encouragement and kind thoughts. Those were appreciated along with the prayers that the faithful offered up.
I'm pretty certain when we sing our anthem and mention the land of the free, the original intent didn't mean cell phones, food stamps and birth control.
