Marines: "Ooo. Ooo. Ooo." When I was stationed in the Army, stationed in Germany, we had to move to another barracks while ours was being remodeled. We had to bring all of our flatbeds to the barracks, load all of our stuff on them, up & down stairs, and unload everything at the new barracks. When the Air Force guys a couple of miles down the road, had to do the same thing a couple of weeks later, the Air Force paid private movers to do everything. To put it mildly, we were NOT pleased.......

Those boys do some amazing things in crappy weather. Old classmate of mine left the Army for the CG and tried to get me to go with him. Told him sailboats dont tip over on clear sunny days.

As an old Chinook Flight Engineer, got to tip my hat to the helicopter crews of the Coast Guard. They do some amazing work!

To put it mildly, we were NOT pleased....... Only a couple air bases I can think of a few miles from Army Kasernes. Where were you stationed?
