I normally deer hunt with one "classic" and one "high tech" rifle. I always take 2 to camp. This year I just may be rocking 2 old school rifles. A Rem 141 in 35 Rem shooting 200gr Interlock RN handloads: And a 1957 edition Win 88 that is crazy accurate with 150gr. Accubond handloads: May even be sporting a Kromer and old school Marbles knife. I'd like to see some of the old school rifles/knives/duds/gear some will use this year. Let's see it.......

I am loving the Marbles knife in the second pic! All you need it red/black plaid and boots that lace up to your knees!

I am loving the Marbles knife in the second pic! Thanks. I pulled into Marbles with a nice 7pt. in the back of the truck the day I bought that one. I still have the receipt in the box. Used it to gut a black bear back in 2003, and haven't used it since. Have 2 more just like it. One much older, one newer.....

Kromer caps are awesome! And Winchester 88's make deer pee themselves a little bit when they find out there is one in the woods.

I am loving the Marbles knife in the second pic! All you need it red/black plaid and boots that lace up to your knees! Nothing like stalking wet woods with heavy wool and 16 in. LLBeans.

Link should work now. Some Michigan made gear with my 88. Asbell Wool pullover. Stormy Kromer. Bark River Knife and Tool impala horn/A2 with maple burl. Jim Behring/Treeman knife made of an old Studebaker leaf spring/crown stag. In the Scagel style, of course. They are all, wonderful things indeed....
