Am getting at the age where the eyes do not work as well as they once did. Lately been having a more difficult time aligning the scale cursor to read zero with no weight in the pan and setting the tenth of a grain and individual grain marks on the RCBS 10-10 scale. The lines are just too fine.
Was at the local Woodcraft store yesterday and saw a lighted 4 lighted magnifying lamp with a magnetic base and a clamp base. Bought one for US$45.00 plus tax.
Set it up today and sitting back about 18 from the scale at eye level, the pointer and zero mark, tenth of a grain and the individual grain markings are crystal clear. The unit is small, clear, and very bright
