Not mine of course, but some dudes in Missouri let the hammer down and got caught with 60 acorn hustlers over the limit. While I am appropriately appalled by such greedy behavior, I am also a bit envious... So Ingwe, Mad Dog, School Marm yall have any fessing up to do?

I think they got them out of "live traps" and they were headed for a huge pot pie. Not calling any names here...

I know two old Ozark hunters that years ago had a one day squirrel tournament between the two of them to settle which of the two was the better hunter. Combined they killed over 140 squirrels in one day. All of which were cleaned and parceled out to various families for eating.

The limit in Missouri is ten per hunter with a twenty possession limit.

Expound on skinner...with pics...please. Don't do pictures too well but Google Squirrel Skinner Device. Amazing, I have 2. One mounted at home and the other on a receiver hitch for taking to the Delta. Will work on turkeys, ducks, rabbits or anything. I added a hook for catfish.

What in the world,Just what does a tree rat pelt fetch these days? grin.. It depends on multiple factors, market fluctuations, Chinese currency fluctuations, Putins' wife and mistress preferences...

You guys have a limit on tree rats?? Why? Florida has a limit of 12 per day, 24 possession. Personally, in some 60 years of hunting squirrels, I have never limited out.

Why do you need a skinning device?

Why do you need a skinning device? Need? I didn't, just wanted it to try one. Just like needing 25 squirrel rifles and shotguns. Don't need them either, but got them anyway..

I understand what you're saying. I cut them at the base of the tail and have them peeled in about a minute with no hair on the meat. To skin any other way would be going backwards for me I think.

My 11 yr old killed 9 one morning a couple of weeks ago. While we were counting them and getting ready to clean them he stated "Holy cow! my first morning hunting and I almost limited out, I guess I did pretty good." That's better than I've ever done in a single morning. Maybe he has more patience than me.
