What is the difference between the SBE and SBE II??
More specifically the furniture. Will SBE II furniture fit on an SBE easily??

I don't think the furniture interchanges. I'm sure a google search would give some reliable first hand information.

I've got a SBE II forearm on my SBE - it's a bit tight but fits fine.

The M1 forearm will fit a M2 if you dremmel a small section of the area that sits against the receiver. M2 forearm is the same as SBE2. I have a M1/SBE1 forearm on my M1 that is equipped with a M2 barrel. The stock will NOT interchange. The choke tubes are different also as are the trigger group but the trigger group may interchange I'm not sure. The late model SBEs with the step rib are in my opinion the cream of the crop. The early H&K imported benelli's were notorious for shooting low and the SBE2s are far more trouble ridden.

Kind of off topic, but I've heard the stoeger 3500 is nothing more than an SBE I. Any truth to that?
