deerstalker;
Thanks for putting up those photos for us sir, that bull is a whopper in all respects. He's got a body much like the Manitoba subspecies castnblast posted photos of and of course a grand rack too. cool

If you have the opportunity to do so, please pass along congratulations to the young hunter and her father.

Not that I'm looking for secret spots, but that bull very much reminds me of a couple that came from near the Castlegar area years ago. My taxidermist buddy had to find extra large forms for them and then add plaster.

I helped him cape one and the head and neck were much, much larger than "normal" bulls and this one reminds me of that one.

Thanks again for sharing this bull with us sir, all the best to you and good luck on your remaining hunts this fall.

Dwayne

What a bull! Congrats to the girl. Was this a limited quota area? A special youth hunt? Or a general tag?

Props to the state of Idaho for this! Good job dad, thats braggin' rights for the next 20 years!

In the first picture, the head of that elk looks like a fridge Hereford!!

deerstalker, that is one incredible story of working together.

And that bull defines massive.

thought I would mention that my wife just informed me the girl is 21 or 22 years old! I know her mother is about 4 foot nothing tall and looks like a pixy. I haven't met this girl but have worked with her dad. good people all around. I have dreams of getting a bull like that. have been dreaming of a bull like that for 50 years of hunting now. guess I better get them to guide me! lol.

Holy moses what the heck does that poor little girl have to look forward to now?

That's amazing what a great dad to bring it in & patient calm & collected young lady to nail it! Kudos all the way around!

I also have had the pleasure of working with the girls dad and uncles deerstalker... Same industries, small world, paths cross wink The whole family is all about the hunt, be it shed antlers, elk, deer, bear.

A bull that big from 'them parts' of the state to be most general, only happen every 20 some years or so. Makes me happy to see young'ens get'n some of that glory.

Dad and daughter can both be proud for many reasons. Awesome bull but far from the most important of those reasons.

Congrats to both.
