I need to have some experience with the peasant side of life before I enter politics. I thought a Tikka would be a good route to gain some street cred but I can't find these POS anywhere.
Anybody have one? What are the measurements on the mags? Can you touch lands with any of the heavies in .308?

There's a few on Gunbroker.
Mag is 3". Uses the TRG 22 (?) magazine. I can't help with the 308 heavies.

Just FYI, they also come in 260Rem.
There's an article in the current Nov/Dec Rifleshooter.
Federal Gold Medal match 168gr went 0.42 average for 3 consecutive 3-shot groups.

Did a little more digging, and found this on the web. Magazine is 75mm, so 2.964in wall to wall.

I bought a new tikka from EuroOptics just a few weeks ago.
They had a pretty good inventory at the time. Don't know about 308s but their inventory is on their website.

I think the contour of this barrel is more magnum-ish. And shorter. And the stock is more sporter-ish. And it's cheaper. Travis

Does the tactical have "bottom metal" or plastic? Plastic mags or steel? (aluminum bottom metal & steel TRG 22 magazines on the CTR)
