The book No easy day, was written by a member who used the name Mark Oneal and he is the one who said the shot was taken by the lead man up the stairway. He explained in the middle of the action, he probably saw the shot from the stairway and when he got in, usama was on the ground so he fired thinking he was the second man in when he actually was the third. An interesting account.

One thing that stood out was his statement that unless you were there, you don't know what happened, only what you were told. So who knows?

I heard this the other night. Lots of interesting comments made in conversation with the interviewer.
The most telling to me was the 2 shots to the face at 2' inside of 1 second, followed by one more to the head when he hit the floor.

There are 2 rules to success:

1. Never tell everything that you know.

That pretty much sums it up.

"Production" MK262 has always used the 77gr SMK. Several bullets were tested during development.
