Seen this over on Bladesforum a short while back and just had to have it. grin

This baby was created by Koonsie Customs and what a fine craftsman Morgan is! The Cleaver came with an equally thought out sheath ... just a truly awesome complete package.

Between this and my recently acquired Chopper from michiganroadkill; I think I will have all my heavy duty knife needs covered.

Tomorrow morning is opening morning of our whitetail gun season and I'm hoping like hell for some success here the next few days so I can split a rib cage or two with this badazz blade! If so, I'll be posting in the 2014 bloody knife thread. smile

Every knife guy should have one of these! .... and that's a fact.

What is it? 3/8ths? Weight?

First thing I'd do is grind the hawkbill off'n it, so it could be used on a board.....

I have an older straight blade heavy kitchen type Cleaver for that kinda work. I wanted something more for chopping/splitting wood or bone and strictly for outdoor use. Plan on tossing it in glove box of my Ranger or keeping it in cab-mounted tool box of my tractor. It'll never wear out!

.... actually the Hawkbill blade is what attracted me to it. Just don't see too many out there. Makes it kinda unique ... especially with that sweet looking blood groove running through it and huge jimping!

That's a mean looking rig. I bet it will work.
