I have a threesome ready to go
Cocobolo , Ironwood from the Baja region of Mexico and India Sambar stag.
The cocoblo ( 6-1/8" OAL) is book matched. Full figured, and has light spots. These light spots will darken with age. $75.
The ironwood (6.25" OAL ) has a few natural " checks" very fine. I stabilized and buffed. I do not think you can see them in the pics . This wood is like petrified, rock hard. The handle is stable. I'll knock $5. off. on it,mother nature threw me a curve ball. Scales are book matched $70.
Stag came out nice too (6" OAL) $75.
Pins are peened,3/32" nickel silver
These are made with factory blades that are 1/8" 440C ss with a deep hollow grind & satin finish. They are heat treated to about 56 to 58 I'd bet. They will take a good edge & hold it,much like a Buck pocket knife. I've tested them. Each has 2.5" of cutting edge. Allows a four finger grip, with a totally compact design. I put a nice matte " slack belt " finish all around the spine, and satin finish on the handle.
Sheaths are hand made ,tooled ,nice snug fit and RH belt loops
Prices include Paypal fee & shipping in the States
I take a U.S.P.S. M.O. as well
