Just got a Ruger GP 100 Match Champion, 357mag, 4" barrel. Looking for suggestions on a good holster. Would like to carry it on my hip with a belt. Like leather but open to what works. What are the good brands and proven styles? Thanks.

I have a Galco for my 4" GP100 and it fits perfectly. You can get it in a brown finish like the one shown here, or in camo. galco

I have a Galco for my 4" GP100, but it has the thumb latch retention versus the strap across the top. As above, molded leather and fits perfect.
There is no way to coexist no matter how many bumper stickers there are on Subaru bumpers!

I also have a Galco, mine has a thumb break.
I also use a Bianchi accumold thumb break, It carries great.

Thanks all for the suggestions of what works. I intend on the belt to be through the pant loops. Not very familiar with holsters.
Going to add a couple to my Christmas list.
