Folks.
Happy Thanksgiving to all .
I have been reading about 2 different mounts , LaRue and Aero Precision . The LaRue is more expensive and I'm wondering if it is worth the cost . This build is for hunting , plinking, and recreational paper punching .
Thank you all in advance for your first hand knowledge sharing .

No experience with either brand, but what are you wanting to do with it? Looks like Aero mounts are fixed mounts while LaRue models are quick detach which would account for at least some of the price difference assuming 1:1 quality levels. Looks like LaRue has free shipping the next couple of days for orders over $200 which would be within your grasp.

If you want QD, get the LaRuue. If you'll never remove the scope, then get the Areo or any of the other ones that you think you might like.
On a cheap note, SWFA has their version of the PEPR for $30 for Black Friday.

I have owned both, and I think the Aero is every bit as well made and designed as the Larue, minus the QD capability.
