Got a good buck this morning. Momma brought the kids out when I pulled up in the driveway. My little girl says," Dad, thanks for getting us buck meat to eat." And my little boy yells out, "Yay dad, good job."

It sure makes me feel good that they know the reason behind the critters me and momma harvest. I can't wait until they are old enough to start bringing in some meat for the family.

Congrats on a nice buck. It won't be long before you will have help filling the freezer!

We count eyeguards here. We consider it a 4-point. The rut is winding down, the secondary rut will be kicking in any time. I got this guy the morning of the 28th. He was chasing a doe.

Big, I guess you are further east over the line from me, the game dept. over here does also But at least you guys don't count anything that sticks out of em! Grin. I had not seen any bucks with does until Saturday and have seen 3 today so I guess its coming on. Thanks-Muddy
