Good glass, solid concept, crosshairs are thick but still able to pull SUBMOA accuracy.
Really sold on the auto on/off feature.
Used the ballistic reticle and strelock program to make hits out to 300 on 5" steel plated.

Well if you decide to trip it anytime soon let me know. I'm gonna hold off buying a new one until after the first of the year. See if I can find a gently used one first.

That's the ticket.
I have two. Bought both off rifles on gunbroker. Sent the seller a message and made a fair offer.

I'm on the lookout for one. When I find one reasonably priced I will pick it up.

Used mine the other night to drop a couple does near dark in the creek bottom. Love the dot. Very fast pickup in dim light when they are running.

I couldn't find one for a price I wanted to pay. So for now I ended up going with a Zeiss Duralyt non-illum in 2.5-8. I traded a good buddy for it to put on the Rigby. I'm still on the lookout for a good used VX-R to try side by side and see which I like better. Then make a decision on which I like better. I could always find another home for the Duralyt.

Might need to work on that impulse control.
I'd guess that after deer seasons end there will be several popping up.
