Interesting and entertaining movie. Hoffman was a very good actor.
Some unexpected twists-- but I haven't read le Carre's book.
It's set in Hamburg with terrorists, funding, catching etc.
And interagency issues. Worth a view.

I'm part way thru reading A Most Wanted Man / John LeCarre'. So far, the book is great.
