I don't find inflating the neo to be too burdensome...the big Agnes has a much more restrictive valve and sucks to inflate in comparison.

Along these lines, figure out how to make the 4-D cell Coleman mattress inflator blow into your river raft. I use a piece of 5/8" heater hose. One set of Batts will blow up more rafts than it should.

2.3 oz's and worth it:

Seems every time you show up here it costs me money. whistle
Last time it was the Olicamp XTS pot. (Which worked great in Idaho and the NC mountains!)
Snubbie is impressionable. I took him llama packing and now he's Heidi the goat packer. grin

Ha! Those goats are eating me out of house and home. Just bought a half ton bale of hay for them! And the chickens... I figure each egg I get is worth about $70!!

But I like those little goat boys!

you guys that use them

any adapters for them to blow up other brand air mattresses?

can't see how it would work with a thermarest, but perhaps EXped down mattress?

Looks pretty slick. But it costs $40.

I have 2 inflaters, one is a 12V and the other runs on batteries. The battery one is too heavy for backpacking but it works great on llama pack trips. The nozzles on both didn't fit any air pad made. I used a 2" piece of 5/8" garden hose that more or less fits over both the nozzle and the mattress valve. It holds on close enough to get the job done.

Thanks Ed! I love my Exped and hate using the bag to inflate
