Did they quit making these? Yes they did. Just like Pharm said... They are $699 at the Whorehouse and the first store I called today had 3 in stock. I like doing business on the Fire, but I'm not going to pay ridiculously for one....

Call this store, they were willing to ship to my FFL. I'm in WV and I was pondering the 3hr drive v.s. shipping.
I assume you're verifying that it is a 1:8 remember it's like the sportsman's walmart...not everyone there is into what they sell.

I was in the Boise, Idaho Sportsmans Warehouse a few weeks ago and they had a couple. I purchased a rifle from them a while back and they shipped it to my FFL - no issue. If I recall it was around $25 to ship it, you might give them a call.
