sniper58 Campfire Greenhorn S Joined: Feb 2007 Posts: 60 central BC, Canada	A couple of mine; first one is an RSI 7x57. older rifle with red pad Second one is my .45-70 that i got about 6 yrs ago. The RSI has the nicest wood that I've ever seen on a #1 Last edited by sniper58; 12/15/14.

Biggs300 Campfire Regular B Joined: Feb 2011 Posts: 1,082	Beautiful wood for sure! But, my newer, UGLY WOOD #1 in 45-70 is a shooter and a keeper. It is more accurate than I am and if I scratch it in the field, I'm OK with it. Some of the wood in the above pictures would be hard for me to take hunting in the bush. Start young, hunt hard, and enjoy God's bounty.

My 7x57 RSI gets used more than anything else. It's accounted for 2 moose and a few deer in the past 2 years. Scratched up.................another thin coat of Tru-Oil as a winter project fixes it right up

And this 2009 Medium Sporter in 9.3 X74R. If there is any proof of a man in a hunt it is not whether he killed a deer but how he hunted it.
