I have a timney trigger for a tang safety ruger with a missing safety 'connecting wire'. Will I be able to bend the current piece of wire to fit or should I start from scratch. Problem is I will have a hard time getting a timney part this time of the year around here.

Thanks

Pieter

77, It's been quite a while but I seem to remember that the Timney used the factory safety link, my 77V Swift has had a Canjar for many years. Muddy

The current wire is used. You may need to tweak it a bit but it will work fine.

If it's like mine in a tang safety RSI; you will need to do a little "woodwork".
