Troops:
A portion of our Hunter Ed class is devoted to wildlife ID so I've put together a brief PowerPoint program on that subject. We're blessed with mule deer, white, and black tails here in Oregon, but I do not have a decent black tail image. Near all I find on the web are dead animal shots or thumbnail pics 400 pixels wide. In the ideal world I'm looking for a rear end shot somewhat similar to the mule deer image below, but could certainly use a couple images independently showing front and rear ends. If someone could post one or two black tails up at about 1024 x ??? pixels and allow their use, I'd be most appreciative.

Mule deer example:

These are Vancouver Island Columbia Blacktail, so no mule deer interference. smile I have larger images (somewhere) if any are of use to you.

These are from my yard near Roseburg--a bit fuzzy due to using a point&shoot through the windows. Feel free to use them (they can always serve as bad examples)

Tuffcity and Alagator:

Thanks a bunch. Just what the doctor ordered. Very appreciative, as many folks don't want to share. No point in capturing images if one does not get them out there.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year

Appreciate the offer, but the web downloads are fine. My intention is use with PowerPoint stuff and our LCD projector is maxed out at 1024 X ??? pixels. Just wasting memory if I go any larger. No intention of any paper publishing. I will likely use your first image and Alagator's initial image as well. Merry Christmas and thanks again,

You are very welcome. Probably much easier to find but I have a couple decent black bear pics- including a brown colour phase, if you need some.
