I didnt think so either, other guys tell me that Ruger has always made limited runs of uncatologed rifles and that anything is possible. Going to try and see this rifle in the flesh today. Most likely a rebarrel.

Yeah, they have done the limited uncataloged runs. I have a Davidsons 7/08 target grey ultralite. But I've never seen the Vt's in anything but swift, '250, 243, 308 and 25-06.....

Saw it today, custom rig very well done and priced cheap, a friend of is going to buy it tonight, said he will let come along to shoot it after holidays if I want.
