Now long after casting before...

1. Sizing?
2. Shooting?

Depends how antsy you are.

Seriously though, some alloys continue to "age harden" for a while after they're cast. If that's an issue, then shoot 'em up quickly. In all honesty I quit fretting about that kind of minutia long ago.

Some say to give it a couple weeks before shooting, although sizing right away is fine.

Personally I don't worry about it, sometimes I cast, coat, load, and shoot in the same day.

if you are not water quenching time is of no importance.

If you water quench, you will want to size them the same day if possible.

If you wait a week after water quenching, you will be guaranteed to build your arm strength when sizing.

Again when water quenching after sizing, wait a week to load and shoot.

Only when water quenching will your bullets get harder.

Whatever you are willing to put up with, is exactly what you will have.

When your ship comes in. ... make sure you are willing to unload it.

PAYPAL, sucks and I will never use them again. I recommend you do the same.

As soon as I get around to it. Might be an hour, might be a few days, or several. Just lubed and sized a couple hundred projectiles cast over a year ago and have been loading them up over the last week or so.

That's how I run also. If I have allowed myself to run out of a particular bullet, I may size and load as soon as they cool. Others may sit on the shelf for a long time. Just me, but I never size and lube until I am ready to reload..........but I don't water quench either.

If we live long enough, we all have regrets. But the ones that nag at us the most are the ones in which we know we had a choice.

And to add if making some out of a babbit mix size them as soon as you can.
Did some once and forgot about them for a little over a week.
I did size 2 or 3 before i worried about breaking the sizer.

You know you're in trouble if the bullets creak, and try to stick as you size them. That's when it's time for "Plan B".
