Ditching a half dozen of one make can equal selling one....for some people..... whistle grin

Me, I'm looking for a job, but when I get the gig as the fulltime Coppertone lotion boy, it will be:
1. A four inch pinned/recessed blued 4" 57
2. A four inch 24-3 blued
3. A four inch 29-2 blued

Whatever 4 or 5 inch N-frame, I might snaggle it.

This is probably one of the most immature paragraphs I've ever read.

I got into IHMSA this year and it's a blast! One thing is for certain, you'll need a lot more bullets, powder and primers.

I'm also getting started into reloading as well smile The primers, bullets, and bras hasn't been a problem so far. However, the powder is different story frown

After reading about several folks here and their long distance handgun shooting abilities I want to dedicate some of my "therapy" time in the hills next summer to longer distance shooting.

Luckily, my policy of "if I don't shoot it, it get's sold" hasn't hit too much iron.

Sometimes, when they beg, they get shot! grin

But I have sold some over the years that just weren't "right" and never would be.

I'm about to put two on the chopping block. I don't have any that don't fill a specific role.

So if anybody needs an M&P .40 (several trigger and sight options) or a NIB SR9C, they're about to be in the Classifieds.

I don't know if you're set on a Baer or not, but if not Hayes Custom Guns in Austin might be worth a look. He's done a lot of work for us and will be building mine if I ever do one. I don't know that he offers a 1.5" guarantee, but he posts pics of a lot of sub-2" test groups.

Aaron Hayes (the owner) is part of the Clark Custom Guns / Miculek family.

I did look at their Facebook page. Love the chrome and teal green Glock smirk grin

Most of their stuff would not be to my liking, but I do like the idea of the black nitride for a carry gun.

I am partial to Baer, as they are a good value, and I doubled my money the only time I've sold one (and wish I had it back). I have a Super-tac model, and it is way more accurate than me:

Nighthawk also makes some real interesting pistols. And in 10mm, which Baer does not. But they also cost a lot more, and may well be more highly detailed.

A fistful of Accurate #7. Why?

smirk

Here's one example. Which does not even have the original grips

I've been considering adding a pocket size 38 - LCR or similar S&W. Would like to add some nice custom grips on my flat top 44 Spl. Have a FA 83 that came used with a scope and no rear site. Trying to decide between a small red dot vs. adding a factory rear site with F/O front. I added a couple holsters last year and will do a couple more this year. Other than that, shoot 'em all more than I have been...

I drove the wife and MIL 60 some miles to our nearest mall this evening, and upon dropping them off I lumbered the 'ol F-250 down the road to a well equipped fun store. Handled a few toys but the first one I asked to see is still first on my list for possible additions. That being the RIA combo gun with 22TCM and 9mm barrel/slide/spring kits. Seems to me that it should not be too hard to fit a 38 Super upper combo on it and have one frame for several calibers plus my nearly identical RIA in 10mm which I really like and have been surprised by, accuracy wise and every other way. RIA does not advertise a 1.5 inch accuracy guarantee, but the one I have will do it if I use sandbags etc. and concentrate.

Here's hoping smile

I might look for a Buck Mark or Single 9 or 10. But that's about it.

Hey Blue, I was reading the fire arms blog earlier. There was an article about the Smiths barrels "shot gunning". I never heard of it before. Y'all might might to read that article.
