Don't know about everyone else, but I'm also getting frustrated by lack of pistol powders for hand loading. Did score two 1 lb jugs of titegroup.

Still can't find 44mag brass. frown

I think economics and availability of components is going to be the determining factor in how much I shoot each cartridge more than anything else.

I recently moved, and with the move, was locating various batches of brass and loading stuff I've accumulated in the past 40 years. Yegads, that stuff adds up in weight and bulk.

I had no idea I had that much 'stuff'. I'm set for life, now, after locating so much stuff I'd forgotten about, that I might never have to load again. I shot IPSC, and went thru a heckuva lot of ammo for awhile.

Leomort, if you're worried about chasing autopistol brass, do as suggested and get a tarp to place on the ground. Or, start shooting a single-action revolver, it'll slow you down a LOT, and your ammo supply will last longer.

You can roll a turd in peanuts, dip it in chocolate, and it still ain't no damn Baby Ruth.

ratsmacker,

I hope to get to that stage where you're at laugh

You're comment about single-action revolvers made in laugh because it brought back memories of me taking my young nephews out shooting 22lr. They absolutely despised shooting the Ruger Single Six and chose my other 22lr.

Never under estimate how fast two young boys can go through a brick of 22lr ammo was the lesson I learned that afternoon, lol! smile

ScottF,

Yes, that's what our sportsman club did when we did our pin shoots as well.

It definitely helps you pick up your brass.
