Do you live in an alternate universe?

I was up in your neck of the woods--I mean the plains--and stopped in to a LGS.

Low and behold, 2 lbs of Varget sat on the shelf. Haven't seen that stuff in Montana for a couple years now (or so it feels like).

WTF? Blue ponies too busy with Ultra mags? Or all shooting gay .270s?

Needless to say the Varget is no longer there and I'm resizing .308 brass...

He doesn't need crappy powder, I have kegs of H-335 that he borrows all the time. Even with the instability of H-335, we shoot it in all kinds of weather and still haven't blown up any guns...

That's okay Shrap... between you guys not blowing up any guns on H 335, and me having a couple blow up on me, together we are running a mean average here...

In slow twist barrels, no doubt.

I tend to believe him John, from what I hear tell in these parts, Shrap knows how to blow up a gun.... wink grin

I wont shoot H335 in extended sessions either ( use it in my deer loads) because of pressure spikes in heat...but Stick pointed out, and I think rightfully so, that a bushed firing pin on a Remington helps with that matter. Im taking it for granted Shrap is shooting the stuff in Sakos...and Im just guessing but I bet their tolerances are better than Remmys, and their cost-cutting measures are fewer...

Still...they don't make a proper 223AI in Stainless/Synthetic laugh

They call it Vargay for a reason....

WTF is an LGS?

No visit to the casa de 'flave? That's hurtful.

I think it means Lesbian/Gay Store. But I'm not sure.

As far as the casa de 'flave goes, I'm not worthy...

That certainly explains why they carry Varget.

We could always go to the Ox. Not everybody likes to see my oil changing pit.
