Damn, I need to get a new top on that bench.

This is the one I cobbled up with a tight budget.

Mid 90's Win 70 classic in 264, I stoned and adjusted the factory trigger to about 3 #.

Midway laminate after my son got the original walnut tangled up between his 4H pony and a tree on his first cow elk hunt at 12 years of age. Butt stock shortened, barrel floated, action bedded, and Pachmeyer decelerator installed by me, with Harris Bipod.

27 inch Pac-Nor Super Match bead blasted, chambered, and fitted by them.

6-20x44 Viper in Burris 30 mm signature rings with plastic inserts selected for 20MOA down angle.

I shoot the 130 AB at 3300 fps MV.

People who choose to brew up their own storms bitch loudest about the rain.

I'm going to start out by saying that at 14.5 lbs it's not what most would consider a "hunting rifle". However it has been known to take a poke at a critter, so for the sake of showing something different and because I like to show off my toys, here is my 6.5 Super LR:

Badger Ordnance M2013 short action in Cerakote FDE and Patriot Brown
Bartlein gain twist(8.75"-8" twist) Whitley Palma barrel chambered in 6.5 SuperLR
XLR Carbon chassis
CG Xtreme trigger
Premier 5-25x56 in a Spuhr mount
SAS Reaper suppressor

Built by Short Action Customs, camo paint by Custom Gun Works.

Originally built it as a tactical competition rifle but have worked weekends for the past year so haven't made it to a single match.

What I give up in weight I feel I gain in confidence in connecting with my target, just don't try to shoot standing without a support! smile

Which one? I don't have time to take pix of all of them.
6.5 Grendel
6.5x55
260 (choice of DPMS LR or Encore)
6.5 Creed (soon to be 260 AI)
6.5 Roberts
6.5-06 (choice of Colt Light Rifle or Mauser- Mauser soon to be AI)
6.5 WSM
264 WM
I have the parts for a 6.5-284, I just need to thread the barrel.
