Yeah badger, thank you much... I appreciate knowing his dogs are being cared for.
He would too.

Ingwe, I agree, I also thought of Mickey's pack and hoped they will/would go to good homes.

My family and I are setting up a monthly donation plan in "Memory of Mickey Coleman" to the Butler County Humane Society's "Second Chance Rescue Program". It is located in Greenville, Alabama where Mickey lived. http://butlercountyalhumanesociety.org/secondchance.htmlI am thinking Mickey would have approved Great idea Miss Lynn, Mick is smiling down on you.

I just checked in to the awful news of Mickey's passing. He was a kind, decent gentleman....and talented riflesmith. I'll miss him and his posts. The Campfire will burn a little dimmer without him, and Heaven a bit brighter. Godspeed Mickey, and condolences for his loved ones. 1D

The last storm that came through knocked out my internet for three days. I just got it back and I find the sad news about Mickey Coleman. It is comforting to read everyone's kind thoughts. He was a fine gentleman.
I enjoyed Mickey's participation here on the 'Fire. Prayers and best wishes to his family and friends.

Haven't been around for a couple days. And I just noticed the "Micky Coleman Memorial" thread.
I never met Micky, but for his contributions on this board. He appeared to be one of our finest gentlemen.
I am deeply saddened. I am sad that Micky shall miss out on so much more that life might have held for him. These forums shall be less for his passing.
RIP Micky!

Damn, haven't been on awhile and then this. My thoughts are with his family.

Wow..Mickey was a top notch gentleman. He built my rifle exactly a year ago. Fine shooter. He was one of the most humble, and friendly smiths I had ever had the pleasure of conversing with.
I'm sure he is finally singing his kings praises by now. A truely kind and warm soul that will be missed
