Wowzer, what a beautiful rifle. It looks to be cerakoted graphite black. What year of receiver? What stock (assuming Mcmillan)? I'll bet it shoots good too...

I thought it was a legend. Hard to tell with half of the rifle out of the picture... Custom rifle needs a little better custom picture to show it off wink

Would it be irresponsible of me to blow the $5k I have saved to fix my truck on this?

bsa: The 338 is a great elk cartridge. But I have a few elk rifles. smile

Someone snag this. You can't replace it at that price.

In addition to the above questions previously asked, what is the LOP?

Hmmm... Wonder how much work would be entailed to get to feed and extract .375 H&H like fat greasy sausages??

FOsteology, you'd be better off finding an H&H receiver (like I just did) and having it re-barreled to 375. This appears to be a standard action 338 win mag. Probably not worth the effort/extra cost to convert to H&H magnum.

I was thinking on the M70 magnum action all that would be required is remove the bolt stop, change the extractor a bit and remove the soldered on magazine block.[Linked Image]

Fost, I think it will require a different box and follower and the action opened for the h&h length unless I'm mistaken.

Interested in the answers to the previously asked questions as well.

Year of action, lop, barrel make, coating, weight, do you have paperwork, price without scope and I'd like to see the targets. smile
