550 cord inside the tent seams
The New Tipis for 2015 are also available with internal paracord reinforced seams
The cord increases tension strength 3 times over the already very strong 6 layered seam.
ask about this and all of our other custom options.
Happy 2015 from Wyominglostandfound!

That is funny. But Montana Creek is in Alaska and I live in CT. But anyways that picture of your tent set-up may help you sell your tent better. Those pictures of the mess in your garage, I don't see as a good marketing idea. Good Luck!

Just found your website. Just wondering what makes your tipi's so much more then Seekoutside? I am in the market for a 6 man.

pride in detail and the ability to find simple solutions for common problems. be specific on your questions and i will give you specific answers. my stove for example. no loose parts to lose. sets up out of the bag in seconds instead of many minutes.

I see selling isn't your strong suit.

Ok what problems have you found/had, and what were your solutions?

I am not asking about a stove. I am interested like I said in a 6 man Tipi.

I am not sure if you are insinuating there are problems with seekoutside. But from everything I have read they seem to be good to go. As to your pricing if they were simple solutions why such a price difference?

what prices are you refering to? i do many things different. fabric choice for instance i have ver 20 fabric options from light and cheap, light and expensive. med. weights and heavy weights of fabrics such as dyneema and cordura. i use the ultralight stuff and i add sidewalls, my zippers are installed differently, my stovejacks are not sewn to the top cones... a weakness. my seams are full length guylines of 6 layers and will now include internal paracord. my stakeloops are super heavy duty.. my top cones are double layer cordura and dyneema. i use 138 and 92 bonded thread. instead of smaller and cheaper 69. etc. etc.

i make my own stovejacks that are heavier and much more durable than the silicone welding cloth that commercial jacks are made from. i use ykk waterproof zippers.... my warranty is unconditional lifetime even if you tear it. burn holes included. i know how to fix and replace everything on the tents. i taught myself this business. noone showed me how. i do it the way i need it and i use the hell out of the stuff.

there is no dyneema option anywhere else. dyneema runs about 25.00 dollars a yard and is much stronger than 70 denier ripstop. it is not a cheap tent.

Honestly warranties don't mean a whole lot to me seeing you or anyone else for that matter can be out of business tomorrow. Now if you have a better mouse trap that is a different story.
