Maybe by starting this off it'll bring me some good luck!

Hand loaded 40gr V-Max outta the 22 Hornet right to the chest ... dropped like a sack of potatoes!

Lol!

You still shooting that Ruger .17 Hornet much? Love my Ruger .22 Hornet and can't think of a better way to start the New Year than putting some fur on the ground with it this morning!

That's the part I have trouble with ... sure wish I had more varmints or critters to chase on my home place but I sure do enjoy when the oppurtunity arises!

Got out for a few hours this AM and made my first kills of 2015.

They did their damnedest to get downwind, but fortunately they didn't get quite that far.

22-250 and 55 grain NBT's

What kind of bipod or sticks are you shooting off of? They look lightweight.

Brought my good luck charm today and it worked. Of course I told my daughter to watch the left and bump me when she sees something. 30 seconds into the call I catch something in the corner of my eye. Coyote 20 yards from me running. I had the bolt gun in my hand. Glad I switched to the AR.

Ricky,

Snipepod. They are jointed and fold up or you can leave them full length when things look "gamey" and you need a quick rest. They don't weigh much, (maybe 4-6 oz?) and can be folded up to about 6-7" long for pocket carry.

Good job Lonny.
Guess I should have given you two of those stretchers.

Now you have a new picture to replace the one on the school's web site. grin

Thanks Lonny
She's always up to go hunting with me. Probably more so than my son. He seems to be more of a shooter than a hunter so far although he loves his duck hunting.

That would cause those liberals more hand wringing than they could handle. smile

Any luck on the cats with the colder weather moving through?

I took a long walk the other day through some country that used to always have bobcats in it and I didn't even cut a track on snow that was 3-4 days old. I would have bet my rifle I would find tracks, but not a thing...

Not even a sniff. frown
We finally got an inch or two of snow today so I'll be out early with the dog looking for trax tomorrow.

I've had some Coyotes hitting that Deer Carcass so I set a couple snares but with out snow I'm just guessing where they're coming in from. If they're back tonight the new snow'll help me sort that out so I just might get my first snared Coyote after all.
