Nice work Ben. Fur is starting to look good.

You got my bull tied up to a tree yet wink. My mule and I will be up that way Friday afternoon to set up camp and hopefully find a bull.

Ben,

That'll get the heart pounding. Nice work.

I called in five on Saturday. They all hung up about 500yds out. This one closed to about 200 and I couldn't let it pass.

UBER. I hope there are still some dumb coyotes out here for me to call after last weekend... laugh

Nice badger Shrap, I saw a really big one yesterday.. A coyote was bugging him while he was trying to mouse hunt and it was pretty funny to watch.

Ben: Have you ever seen a coyote and badger work together to catch gophs or PDs? Really interesting, though of course the badger does most of the work and the coyote supplies the brains....

I thought it was a foxhound, or a schitt-zoo.....

Nonetheless, a proper heeler wouldn't mess with rabbits...send him to me, I'll take him off your hands....

Not being a really serious elk hunter and lacking Shrapnel's system for loading elk once the are slain I usually pack a varmint rifle in addition to my elk rifle..
After a short hunt this am for elk, I was heading toward town, when I spotted this coyote.. The high winds must have covered my approach... He was chewing on an old antelope leg, when I spotted his head in the grass.. Got the Swift on him, but my golden Kate couldn't stand it.. So she let out a yip.. He stood to check this out and made a perfect target.. A 50 gr Vmax did the rest.. Maggie is checking him out.. Her first coyote...
