As bad as my eyes are a target at that range would need to be the size of a five ton truck just so I could see it.

I look forward to seeing the new rig.

OK, here's the new rig. ruger american predator ($380), vortex variable off one of my AR's ($250). If I can outshoot just ONE of the guys with a custom, GAP, or any dedicated long ranger that cost more than $1000, it'll just make my day.....

Actually, it ain't for the comp. I just wanted a beater for the tractor and quad to plink coyotes at longer range than my 204.......grin

That is a nice rig. Is it a 6.5 Creedmoor too?

That it was.

Right before sundown, the sun got to the perfect angle to enable you to watch the glint of the copper bullets as they flew downrange and hit the targets. It stayed that way for almost 5 minutes. That was really awesome to see!

Thanks again, Pat, for putting it on.

Great meeting all you guys!

I saw a little of that on Friday evening when Carl was shooting, only time I've seen that.
