Looking to scope my stainless Guide Gun with a 2.5x Leopold fixed. Any recommendations for scope bases/rings that work best on these guns? Not looking to do a scout mount, btw.

So I'm thinking I might go extra simple on this one. Anyone have any experience with Tally lightweights on a lever?

I use them with an FX-II 2.5X20. I have fired numerous loads that generate nearly 45 ft-lbs recoil with no apparent effect on rings or scope. It seems to be a good, reliable combo.

I have talley lightweights on my marlin. Like Vic, I haven't had any issues. I have a leupold vx2 1-4x scope.

Just ordered a set of talley lightweights and the leupy lightweight 2.5x. Should have then by end of the week and hopefully do some shooting next week. Will follow up with some pictures and a report. Thanks for the advice, guys!
