Why do we have to jump through these hoops to use your forum?

Is this older forum software that is basically defunct? How many releases are there past this one? Are they better?

I get this message about every third page. The pages will randomly reload and kick back to the first post on the page.

Yes. A browser.

Google "Mercury Browser". Press "get". Wait for it to load. Then Open. Click the settings button (looks like three lines), block popups, turn ad blocker on

Goodbye Safari.

Try try, please.

Thanks Rick.

Mercury Pro browser is working great on my iPhone 5s. Goodbye hang-ups and reloads!

It's funny, but just as I was reading your post a problem occurred while loading the page. I'm running Safari and Yosemite, on a MacBook Air.

Just FYI, and because I think it's useful for you to know this, I'm one of those who are experiencing these problems on the Campfire pretty much constantly now.

This is the only site - I haven't been to all the sites on the internet, admittedly - but this is the only site that I've been to on the internet, where this is happening to my computer.

It's annoying, and it results in my spending a little less time here, but as of right now I'm not inclined to change my browser just to deal with a quirk that I suspect you will eventually fix, by and by. grin

+1. Just one more reason to go elsewhere.

Tried it. Just like Chrome, it won't allow me to sign into the Fire. The keyboard disappears before I can type on it.

This site has always been golden running W7/ Chrome/ Ad-block. Today there have been many failures.

Mine was doing that with chrome and safari. Tried the Mercury, and with pop ups blocked and the ad block turned on (in extensions) it now works perfectly.

More than a few times last week, I was automatically redirected to the app store for some app I think was called GILT, had to close App Store, close safari and the 24hr page, then could reopen for an hour or two before it happened again on multiple 24hr forums.
None in the last two days, haven't upgraded to 8

Once you get the Mercury browser, go up to the puzzle piece looking thing and hit it, go to "more" and turn on Adblock

It will make your keyboard quit disappearing

I had that with Chrome AND I E . I switched to Firefox and adblocker+ and I have no problems on my laptop.

But... I log in on each visit. And I keep Adobe disabled.
