The mailman brought the tags. Me, my BIL, and my two kids will be plugging away at WI birds the last week in April. They've tagged along for two years now, longer for my boy.
It's time for the real McCoy now. I'm sure I'm more pumped than they are. The permission to hunt the farm has been acquired, and the shot guns are already dialed in!

Yeah mn and wi have a draw for the season you get. There are 6 one week long seasons. I'd love to see it just be open for the 6 weeks but oh well!
I have the 3rd season, which is what I prefer weather wise and level of bird activity!
If you don't get drawn you can buy a leftover tag for a later week.

Nice to think about those spring days and the hunt. It sure in 'oak. Other than fall, it's my favorite time of year. The farm we hunt is in big buck country too and we see plenty of them!
