Personally I've found them useful in places where I can't see far beyond my nose, but further than I might trust a load of buckshot. It has been my experience that they age well and often do things in old age they never dreamt of doing as kids. Sometimes their best efforts get foiled by distractions such as rattlebugs gnawing on ankles and such. I am..........disturbed.
