I've been thinking about a new semi auto 12 gauge. This will be an upland gun/dove gun, so I have no need for 3.5s or camo. I like the Browning Silver and the Benelli Montefeltro. I realize these are two different systems but just looking for opinions. Thanks Eli

I had an older monte I sold because I could hit with it despite playing with the shims.
Nice guns and never missed a beat.
Look at a Franchi Affinity if you want to save dollars and get nearly the same thing. I think they sell them in wood...
Other than that, How was the show Mrs. Lincoln?

Beretta 391 in the classifieds right now. I've had mine for 12 years now and can't complain about it at all.

The silver and the monte are both nice. I would choose the monte cause they are lighter and a easier to clean less complicated system. I had one and loved it but traded it for an M1 cause I duck hunt more than anything and I didn't want to beat up such a nice gun.
The Beretta 400s are very nice also and the SX3 is a superb gun. Many friends of mine use the SX3, its very similar to the silver.
Monte or SX3 if I were buying for myself. Both are very light, both come in wood. The monte looks more traditional than the SX3.
