Hi,

I have had a blued Taurus PT 58 with wood grips in my safe for quite a while now. I can't remember what I paid for it. I am looking at getting a new pistol and was wondering if someone with a gun book of values could give me an idea as to what it's worth. Before I walk into my local dealer I'd like to have an idea. I haven't bought a new pistol in a long, long time. I know it's not a really an expensive pistol. If I don't trade it in, I'll probably try to sell it locally.

Thank you!
Mike

Retail I'd estimate it at around $200-$250
Wholesale (what a dealer would give you) $100-$150

It's a copy of the Beretta 84, and there are a lot of Beretta 84's out there for under $300.00, so that pushes the price of the Taurus down.

About 6-8 months ago someone imported a HUGE raft of Beretta 84's from some European LE agency so that just crashed the market for those guns.
