Just found this site yesterday while researching a Winchester Model 70 Ultragrade. Thanks to the abundance of knowledge on this site, I learned more than enough to stop me from bidding on one on gunbroker. Unfortunately the guy who asked the original question learned even more than I did. I have to say that all of the comments were spot on and meant to help especially the last one. You guys are a lot like the hunters and gun guys I hang out with, full of useful information gathered from years of experience in the school of hard knocks for the most part but if you can't take the heat don't even think of walking towards the campfire. Weedhopper Didn't put enough dirt down. I saw it right off. Umm, Wrong forum, bro... This ain't called the Freakshow for nothing... If it's valid info you seek, try some of the sub-forums. If you yearn for enlightenment and self-improvement, head for the basement....
