Anyone familiar with his work, or even better, own any of his firearms?
I have been offered what I think is a pretty good deal on one of his guns. From what I can find with good ole Google, he seems to do pretty highly thought of and his guns seem to be some of the more desirable. Just throwing it out to see if someone is personally familiar with his work...

I have decided I need a fowler to add to my collection, and I was offered a .62 caliber smoothbore rifle / 20 gauge fowler made by Netting if that helps any. Along those same lines, if someone has one they are considering parting with, I am actively in the market...

I owned a .62 smoothbore brass-barreled flintlock pistol made by Netting, and it was a very nice. Don't neglect the offerings by Caywood, as they are more available on the used market.

I wound up talking to Danny Caywood for a couple of hours and decided to go with one he is finishing up that wasn't sold yet. He made me an offer I couldn't refuse! Going to pick it up at his house in about three weeks since I live within a resonable distance from him. I figure a couple hour drive beats chancing it being in the hands of a shipper for a few days...

I think you'll enjoy that Caywood, and talking to Danny on the phone is an enjoyable experience.

We seemed to hit it off pretty well. His son and I have a lot in common we found out. I am picking it up at his house so we can spend some time making some smoke and shooting it in...
