I REALLY hope that folks considering sending any phones know how to wipe all the data off of them first. Otherwise, you're sending every one of your contacts, a GPS tracker with all of your frequented locations (doesn't take long to figure out home from that, either), your e-mails, your passwords, your pictures, and possibly other sensitive data and numbers as well.
If you don't know how to wipe data from these devices, and I mean wipe it completely, you're giving up more than just an old phone. A lot more.

Maybe Rick Bin should fix it so that cell phones, PC's, tablets, and the like can not be sold/traded/exchanged on these forums, thereby heading off any problems at the pass long before they start. Be interesting to know the REAL identity of the Dude asking for the cell phones.

That took a very interesting turn from me just wanting to teach myself how to repair these phones. I understand the concern over that sort of thing and take precaution myself. But I am a reputable member of the forums here with many transactions with several members, buying and selling. I assure you that im not just some "Dude " as you have called me. I would be glad to show or send any one here in doubt a copy of drivers license or pistol permit showing all my info, so you can see the Real "Dude"s Identity. I would also be glad to help you walk thru resetting the phones completely prior to sending them. If the admins decide to not allow this type of Post then I understand , but please do not attack my character ,without first asking me questions directly
