OP doctor_Encore Campfire Outfitter D Joined: Jan 2007 Posts: 8,761 west of the Chesapeake Bay	I found some Remington 170 gr Core-lokts and not wanting to shoot to many of these hard to find bullets up at paper I need your powder suggestions. Doc

22250rem Campfire Outfitter Joined: Jun 2006 Posts: 10,484 Western NY State	IMR-3031 and 170 gr. Speer flat points are a beautiful combination in my Marlin. There's other powders that also work well as some have mentioned but after a lot of experimentation I finally settled on that 170/3031 load because it's so consistent and I like having just one good .30-30 load for the sake of simplicity and not having to re-zero.

Its all right to be white!! Stupidity left unattended will run rampant Don't argue with stupid people, They will drag you down to their level and then win by experience
