Rainier Arms in Auburn WA. had several in fluted and non-fluted on their shelf mid week. Not sure specifically what they had just that they were labeled .308 and definitely 24".

I own several of their ultramatch barrels and have never had an issue with quality or accuracy.

Yeah, I think that Rick knows about Fulton... scratch that off the list. AT least for me.

I'd just get a GOOD tube and have someone like Holliger put it on... at least set it up to be able to put it on.

Rick

Rainier Arms website shows this 24" barrel as labeled for Armalite and in stock.

http://www.rainierarms.com/rainier-arms-ultramatchtm-308-barrel-24-6560

Website doesn't have much info past that.

I have their 20" 308 barrel and it is sub moa to 300yds with federal gold medal match and with my handloads. Never shot it for groups further then that.

Thank you sir! I'll call them tomorrow. I want to know the diameter out toward the muzzle so I can mount a barrel band front sight out toward the muzzle to increase the sight radius!

What's wrong with the barrel at Fulton?

Might not be the quality, but the [bleep] that run it, lying, stealing ideas, etc....

Long story that started years ago with them.

I don't have a clue quality wise because I won't ever spend a dime with them. Most compentent highpower shoooters know the stories

That's what I figured you were talking about. I remember hearing horror story's about them a while back but have never experienced one myself. I think I have ordered small parts twice from them but never a barrel. I hear good things about Criterion though and the barrel fit the description of the OP's request.
