That's a good, practical design that I'm sure you'll get a lot of use out if...especially killin'n as many critters as you do. Reckon it'd work we'll for skinnin' out pronghorn and mule deer heads too. Anyways, can't see that you need to be doin' any of your own grindin' on that one. Sweet blade. Leather or Kydex...? Every day on this side of the ground is a win.
