Odd...I don't remember having access to a camera during recruit training.
Maybe the San Diego marines were afforded that, couldn't say.

Lackland was closed due to Encephilitis outbreak. Did Basic at Amarillo . No pictures were taken.

In Feb./Mar. of '66 Lackland was closed for a spinal meningitis outbreak.

They put me on a 90 day hold and I went in May.

HOT didn't even begin to describe it, but it got you acclimated for RVN !!
