I don't recomend the v max for anything bigger than a prarie dog.....

I know everyone has heard put it where it kills them. I have seen a friend kill them with a can and head shot 22wmr and 17hmr. Another guy I met use to work on a ranch down south thinning nilgai he shot a kicking magnum for years until he had shoulder problems. Then he went to a 22-250 and put it by the ear DRT.
