Thanks Rory From down under got time to finely go through all the photos How green can one be But that aside, Great to see the photos and all the variety that was on show As a note to you and Johno, both of you should be able to pick out the gun in the pictures that was manufactured in Australia and has a set of original sights on it that were acquired from New Zealand (it was without sights when purchased) - so there was a little bit there from 'down under'.

Thanx for the pictures Rory. And as far as missing the show, the only consolation I can have is that I save lots of $. . but what about next year?

There are some beautiful rifles in those pictures, but for those of us who weren't fortunate enough to be able to attend the "Fest", I would have loved it if someone would have put "names" under the pictures of the guys who did attend so those of us who couldn't attend would know "who-was-who" at the "Fest". I've talked on the phone with several of you "lucky-mugs" who were there, but it would SURELY have been GREAT to see "who-was-who" if "names" had been put with the "faces" in, at least, some of those pictures so all of us would know the guys with whom we chat 'most every day. Butttttt... yes, I "know"... that would have been a lotta hard work...! But it would have been very much "appreciated" by guys like me who couldn't attend. Strength & Honor... Ron

Probably isn't one. They are held when somebody has the time and desire to host it (it's not a small amount of work). We've been averaging one every 2 years.
“ The Savage 99 Pocket Reference”. All models and variations of 1895’s, 1899’s and 99’s covered. Also dates, checkering, engraving.. Find at www.savagelevers.com

IT's NOT A SMALL AMOUNT OF WORK. THANKS to SOME, the 2 I Hosted went very well i thought with all there help, and the other 2 i Attended seemed effortless, with the same folks helping in what ever manner they could. WE ALWAYS HAVE A BUNCH OF GREAT GUYS TO DO WHAT EVER IT TAKES.

so when and where is "Savage Fest 2015"..... Gunut, you shoulda came to Savage Fest 2014 as it was in your area. I'm looking forward to Savage Fest 2016 already. Timed to coincide with WYO1895's book release. And as 1899SAV said, hosting is not hard. Pick a date, reserve/provide a space that can handle ~40 tables or so depending upon needs and that's it. Any place has some hotels and food in the area. I'm a newbie to the forum and with a few pointers from forum members and previous hosts Savage Fest 2014 was successful. PM me any questions.

Will there be a Savage fest in 2016? if so, where and when?
Even the best of us have inadequacies.
